As Friday night approaches, many in Dallas are preparing for tonight's poker game, but it's not just any poker match. No, tonight is the 2008 IGDA QuakeCon Texas Hold'em Tournament, sponsored in part by Shacknews.
Sign-in starts around 6 PM CST at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, with tournament play beginning at 7 PM and all proceeds going to Child's Play.

Capcom has passed in a second video illustrating the making of GRIN's downloadable remake Bionic Commando Rearmed (PC, PS3, 360).
Much like the previous making-of footage, the video details the development variety of elements in the upcoming action platformer, which is slated to arrive on the Xbox Live Marketplace on August 13. A PlayStation Store release is expected a day later.

Following significant layoffs at Flagship Studios, new job listings posted by Korean publisher T3 Entertainment seem to indicate that the company has picked up Flagship's Hellgate: London and Mythos properties, Gamasutra reports.
"T3 Entertainment is searching for creative minds to passionately continue development of Hellgate: London and Mythos, along with other new games, which are being published by HanbitSoft Inc," the job posting reads.
