Magicka DLC Plans Revealed as Sales Pass 200,000

Having sold 30,000 copies within the first 24 hours after launching on PC, Arrowhead's $10 co-op action-RPG Magicka went on to sell over 200,000 within the first 17 days.

The revelation came in an interview with producer Mattias Lilja of publisher Paradox Interactive at Big Download. He also revealed that multiple pieces of downloadable content, both paid and free, are in the works.

Batman: Arkham City Director Says Game is 'Single-Player Only'

Dispelling long-standing rumors, Batman: Arkham City director Sefton Hill has confirmed that the game is a "single-player only" experience. If we had to guess, we'd say the horror-based video game version of the "Odd Couple" would be the Point Man and his disturbed, ghost-brother Paxton Fettel--stars of the upcoming shooter F.E.A.R. 3.

Though we already knew two-players would be able to control the brothers during co-op story session playthroughs of the game, Warner Bros. Bungie Preparing 'Defiant Map Pack' for Halo Reach, Due in March

Bungie sent word today that Halo Reach will be receiving more maps in March. The "Defiant Map Pack" brings three new multiplayer maps -- Condemned, Highlands, and Unearthed -- that cover a variety of game types. An exact date wasn't mentioned in the press release, but the set will cost $10 (800 MSP).
