PlayStation Store Update Brings Dragon Age 2 and Yakuza 4 Demos for All, Xenogears

This week's PlayStation Store update was a demo-o-rama, bringing trials for BioWare's RPG Dragon Age II, MLB 11: The Show and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. On top of those, the Yakuza 4 demo that was previously exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers is now available to all and sundry. Huzzah for trying before buying.

StarDock Annual Report Hints at More Solar Empire, Laments Elemental

StarDock's annual Customer Report was released today and, as usual, CEO Brad Wardell provided a frank overview of the company's successes and shortcomings, along with a few sprinkled hints of plans for the future.

Dungeon Siege 3 Hands-On Preview

Dungeon Siege 3 will be the first game in the series playable on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, in addition to the traditional PC offering.

I traveled to Obsidian's offices last week and was able to see the game running on all three platforms, and also spend some time playing through the game's opening segments on both PC and PlayStation 3. Chief among my concerns was how Obsidian would translate the series' Diablo-like pointy-clicky combat i...
